Person or persons unknown gained entry to a house via the back door, kicking it in. Ransacked the house and took $145 in cash.
Two known maleantes from Las Perlas, Volcan were working around the corner, and a neighbor saw one of them talking on his cell phone in front of the house.
The burglar(s) were probably watching the house, as one person left at 11:30 and several came home for lunch at noon every weekday. They hit between 11:30 and noon.
