A 64 year-old American citizen named August Heim is in serious condition after he was stabbed in the chest by two criminals who attacked him in his residence, located in the El Encanto neighborhood in the district of Bugaba, in the province of Chiriqui. According to the police, the criminals went to the house of the foreigner, where they stabbed him and stole $1,600 dollars from him in cash. Heim was found lying on the floor of the porch of his residence. When he was rescued, he was conscious, and telling his relatives the details of what had happened.
