Thank you for posting this information. This type of posting would be even more useful if we had some details about the types and levels of deterrence and protection at the location. As an example: Was there fencing? Was there a locked gate? Is the house isolated or are there neighbors immediately adjacent? Any reports on vehicles (unlikely that a safe will be carried away on foot)? Was there any kind of alarm system? Approximate time of day (or night) of theft. Day of the week (to show patterns to other crimes of a similar nature). Any sign of dog poisoning?

Rich, I agree with, however when I posted the info no more info was available, the police may have more. I do not want to release who/where without the permission of the people concerned.. Will say Nov 4
